The Orbis Professional and Technical Services Framework Tender is now live

The Tender Opportunity for a new Orbis Professional and Technical Services Framework Agreement led by East Sussex County Council and Surrey County Council has now been published on the SE Shared Services Portal at: www.sesharedservices.org.uk/esourcing

 

 

Orbis is a partnership between Surrey and East Sussex County Councils that aims to provide seamless and resilient business services to the public sector, creating a compelling alternative to other providers. The Orbis Partnership incorporates the following services: Human Resources and Organisational Development, Property , IT, Procurement, Finance and Business Operations.


Orbis will be establishing two new frameworks,


• The Orbis Professional and Technical Services Framework with multiple providers for construction projects and capital programmes


• The Orbis Construction Framework with multiple contractors.(Tender opportunity to go live in due course)


These will be procured to function alongside/ support each other.


The Frameworks will be jointly procured by East Sussex County Council and Surrey County Council as part of the Orbis Partnership, its current and future Partners and Clients and other public sector organisations. Please note that East Sussex County Council will be the contractual lead authority for The Orbis Professional and Technical Services Framework and Surrey County Council will be the contractual lead authority for The Orbis Construction Framework with multiple contractors.


The Orbis Capital and Revenue Programme is anticipated to be in excess of £500m over the next four years — which in accordance with Orbis Partnership priorities, will be delivered by a range of suppliers, including SME's.

 

The Orbis Professional and Technical Services Framework with multiple providers for construction projects and capital programmes

It is expected that the new Professional and Technical Services Framework will supplement other procurement arrangements which are available to Orbis partners and clients. The Framework will be used as a vehicle to deliver diverse types of Property related projects and programmes across the public sector.

The Framework is intended to be in place for three years with an option to extend it for a fourth year.

 

The Orbis Construction Framework with multiple contractors.

It is expected that the new Construction Framework will supplement other procurement arrangements which are available to Orbis Partners and Clients. The Framework will be used as a vehicle to deliver diverse types of construction projects and programmes across the public sector.


The Construction Framework is intended to be divided into value banded Lots.


Lot 1 will encompass capital projects and programmes of work from approx. £3m to approx. £10m.


Lot 2 will encompass capital projects and programmes of work up to approx. £3m.


The Framework is intended to be in place for 3 years with an option to extend it to 4th year.
